Product Introduction
Standard Name: Truss Head Machine Screw (Flat Head/Low Profile Machine Screw).
Common Names: Flat Head Machine Screw, Low Profile Machine Screw, Electrogalvanized Flat Head Machine Screw.
Product Definition: A specialized machine screw featuring a low-profile, large-diameter head. Its core design principle maximizes head contact area without increasing overall height, surpassing standard round or pan heads. This enhances pressure distribution, effectively preventing head sinking or surface damage during installation in thin plates or softer materials.
Key Features of Shield Anchor YZP
Yellow Zinc Plated (YZP): Passivated with yellow chromate, providing moderate corrosion protection
(superior to ordinary white zinc). The surface is golden yellow, aesthetically pleasing, and wear-resistant,
suitable for indoor or slightly damp environments.
Three-section Inflatable Shield Design: Composed of three steel shield sections, tapered nuts, springs,
and bolts, the expansion evenly distributes force, providing high grip and load capacity.
Material and Strength: Commonly made of carbon steel, high strength, suitable for medium to
heavy loads; various sizes available (e.g., M6-M16, length 50-135mm).
Installation Type: Loose bolt or projecting type, allowing the shield to be installed before securing objects.
Advantages: Strong grip, detachable, economical, compatible with various substrates, but requires
precise drilling.

Working Principle
Drilling Installation: Drill a hole of appropriate diameter and depth in concrete or masonry and insert
the shield anchor.
Expansion Process: When the bolts are tightened, the conical nut pulls into the shield body, causing the
three shield sections to expand evenly outwards and grip the borehole wall.
Load Distribution: The expansion force is distributed along the length of the shield body, providing a
balanced grip; the zinc plating enhances corrosion resistance.
Fixing and Removal: High clamping force is generated, allowing for removal by loosening the bolts;
the principle involves mechanical expansion and frictional grip.

Product Applications
Construction Engineering: Fixing steel beams, railings, or supports to concrete/brick walls, providing
structural stability.
Industrial Installations: Secure heavy machinery, equipment bases, or pipes.
Residential and Commercial: Installing shelves, handrails, or signage; aesthetically pleasing for visible
locations.
Infrastructure: Bridge railings or outdoor fixing; the zinc plating is suitable for lightly exposed
environments.
General Fixing: Any project requiring removable, high-strength anchoring.
