Product Introduction
Standard Name: Stainless Steel Drop-In Anchor.
Common Names: Stainless Steel Internal Expansion Anchor, Stainless Steel Internal Expansion Bolt, Stainless Steel Expansion Screw, SS304/316 Impact-Driven Internal Expansion Anchor.
Product Definition: A post-installed stainless steel expansion anchor bolt. Installation requires pre-drilling a hole and inserting the anchor bolt. Striking the specialized core rod causes the base to expand, forming a powerful friction lock within the concrete hole walls. This achieves flush-mounted fixation with high load-bearing capacity. Its stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance.
Drop In Anchor SS Key Features
Stainless Steel (SS): Commonly AISI 304 or 316 grade, providing excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation
resistance, and hygiene, suitable for humid, acidic, alkaline, or salt spray environments.
Internal Expansion Design: The cylindrical anchor body features internal threads and a tapered expansion
groove at the bottom, allowing for expansion and fixation using a specialized installation tool, providing
high holding power and pull-out resistance.
Strength and Durability: High-strength design suitable for medium to heavy-duty fixing on solid
substrates such as concrete; natural gloss finish, no additional coating required.
Various Sizes: Internal threads M6-M20, lengths 25-80mm, requires a specialized installation tool.
Advantages: Concealed installation, strong holding power, reusable threads, durable and hygienic, but
requires a specialized tool for expansion.

Working Principle
Drilling and Insertion: Drill a hole of the appropriate diameter and depth in the concrete, and drop the
anchor into the hole (head flush).
Expansion Fixing: Using a specialized setting tool, tapping or rotating expands the anchor body wall with
the bottom conical section, gripping the hole wall tightly.
Threaded Application: After expansion, a permanent internal thread is provided for bolt tightening; the
stainless steel passivation layer resists chemical corrosion.
Load Distribution: The expansion force is evenly distributed, providing high pull-out strength; the
principle involves mechanical expansion and frictional gripping.

Product Applications
Marine and Shipbuilding: Fixing equipment or structures to concrete, resisting seawater corrosion.
Food and Pharmaceutical: Installing processing equipment or containers, hygienic and pollution-free.
Chemical Industry: Fastening pipes or valves, resistant to acid and alkali environments.
Ceiling and Piping: Fixing hangers, light fixtures, or ventilation ducts to concrete ceilings, concealed
and aesthetically pleasing.
Construction and Outdoor: Bridge railings, curtain walls, or outdoor fixing, providing long-term stability.
