Product Introduction and Designation
Standard Designation: Drop-In Anchor (ZP).
Alternative Designations: Internal Expansion Anchor, Internal Expansion Bolt, Pre-embedded Internal Expansion Anchor, Galvanized Internal Expansion Anchor.
Product Definition: A post-installed internal expansion anchor specifically engineered for concrete. Installation requires pre-drilling a hole and inserting the anchor sleeve. Striking the matching core rod causes its wedge-shaped base to expand the sleeve, generating powerful expansion friction and mechanical interlocking within the hole wall for high-load-bearing fixation. Its “Drop-In” feature suits applications requiring flush-mounted bolts or connections below the surface.
Drop In Anchor ZP Key Features
Zinc Plated (ZP): Provides basic rust protection and a bright silver finish, enhancing corrosion resistance,
suitable for indoor or slightly damp environments.
Internal Expansion Design: The cylindrical anchor body features internal threads and a tapered expansion
groove at the bottom, allowing for expansion and fixation using a specialized installation tool, providing
high holding power and pull-out resistance.
Material and Strength: Commonly made of carbon steel, high-strength design, suitable for medium to
heavy-duty fixing on solid substrates such as concrete.
Various Specifications: Internal threads M6-M20, lengths 25-80mm, requires a matching installation tool.
Advantages: Concealed installation, strong holding power, reusable threads, economical and practical,
but requires a specialized expansion tool.

Working Principle
Drilling and Insertion: Drill a hole of the appropriate diameter and depth in the concrete, and drop the
anchor into the hole (head flush).
Expansion Fixation: Using a specialized installation tool, tapping or rotating expands the bottom tapered
section of the anchor body wall, gripping the hole wall tightly. 3. Threaded Application: Provides a
permanent internal thread after expansion for bolt tightening; zinc plating enhances corrosion resistance.
Load Distribution: Uniformly distributed expansion force provides high pull-out strength; the principle
involves mechanical expansion and frictional grip.

Product Applications
Ceilings and Piping: Secure hangers, light fixtures, or ventilation ducts to concrete ceilings for
concealed practicality.
Building Construction: Install railings, brackets, or curtain wall systems, providing a flush surface.
Industrial Installations: Secure equipment bases or guardrails to concrete floors.
Residential and Commercial: Secure shelves, signage, or cabinets; zinc plating is suitable for indoor
visible applications.
General Anchoring: Any project requiring high-strength internal thread anchoring.
