Product Introduction
Standard Name: Spring Lock Washer (Stainless Steel).
Common Chinese Names: Stainless Steel Spring Washer, Stainless Steel Lock Washer, SS Spring Washer.
Product Definition: A single-coil spiral-shaped locking washer made of stainless steel. It operates by utilizing its own elastic deformation to provide continuous preload, preventing bolt connections from loosening due to vibration or thermal expansion and contraction. The stainless steel material offers excellent corrosion resistance.
Spring Washer SS Key Features
Stainless Steel (SS): Commonly AISI 304 (A2) or 316 (A4) grade, offering excellent corrosion resistance,
oxidation resistance, and hygiene, suitable for humid, acidic, alkaline, or salt spray environments.
Split Spring Design: A ring-shaped split structure generates elastic restoring force upon compression,
providing continuous axial pressure and resisting vibration-induced loosening.
Surface Finish: Natural silver smooth appearance, maintaining its beauty for a long time without the
need for additional coatings.
Various specifications: Inner diameter M3-M48 (or #4-2"), standard thickness, conforming to DIN 127,
ASME B18.21.1, etc.
Advantages: Reliable anti-loosening, durable and hygienic, suitable for extreme environments,
but more expensive than carbon steel versions.

Working Principle
Compression Installation: Placed under the nut, the washer is compressed upon tightening, causing
elastic deformation at the split end.
Restoring Force Generation: The elastic restoring force provides continuous spring force, maintaining
the clamping force.
Vibration Resistance: Under vibration, the restoring force prevents the nut from rotating backward;
the stainless steel passivation layer resists chemical corrosion.
Load Distribution: Evenly transmits pressure, preventing loosening; the principle involves elastic
deformation and frictional grip.

Product Applications
Marine and Shipbuilding: Secures equipment components, resisting seawater corrosion and vibration.
Food and Pharmaceutical: Assembles and processes equipment, hygienic and pollution-free.
Chemical Industry: Connects pipes or valves, resistant to acid and alkali environments.
Medical Devices: Secures instruments, non-magnetic and does not interfere with equipment.
Construction and Outdoors: Bridge or solar panel supports, providing long-term anti-loosening stability.
